Character Info
Character's Name: Vincent Valentine
Character's Canon: Final Fantasy VII
Character's Age: Approximately in his late 50s, appears in his late 20s.
Canon Point: Shortly after being discovered by the party in Shinra Manor.
Background/History: A wiki link here!
Strengths & Weaknesses:
COMPETENT - Given Vincent's prior experience as a Turk, on top of his enhanced battle capabilities courtesy of spending time as a science experiment, Vincent is highly competent in battle. Generally, even though his personality tends to keep others at an arms-length, he's someone who can be trusted to be relied upon, and even to dole out snippets of unexpected wisdom whether someone asks for it or otherwise.
COOL-HEADED - He's difficult to faze outwardly, able to keep his cool in situations of high duress or extreme inanity. (looks at the party) Vincent isn't very impulsive, either, tending to think his choices through before acting on them.
KIND - Get to know him well enough, and Vincent's kind nature shines through his otherwise stoic mannerisms. Even as a Turk, he had more of a moral compass than most in his position--showing disdain towards Shinra employing human experimentation in their projects--and he's extremely loyal to those he manages to get close to.
CRYPTIC - Brooding and solitary, Vincent doesn't go out of his way to form connections or make friends. He's secretive and not terribly talkative, leading to a generally enigmatic air about him, and not always in a positive way. Sometimes in frustrating way.
LONER - Yeah, Vincent is definitely the lone wolf type. He's stoic, and reticent, and is more likely to loom on a high perch like a cryptid than make any effort to engage in conversation like a normal person. This makes him a difficult man to approach, too, giving the impression that he can't usually be bothered.
SELF-LOATHING - More than anything, he ruminates on his perceived failures of the past, blaming himself for being unable to help Lucrecia and, distantly, Sephiroth's ultimate circumstances and fate as as result. Add this to the state of his highly-experimented-upon, monster-shifting body, and Vincent doesn't hold a very high opinion of himself. In a way, he is a man constantly seeking redemption, and this is especially prevalent early on in the game's narrative.
Powers & Abilities: Another wiki link here, as well as one on his Limit Breaks (in his case, his monster transformations) here!
